SKIN DISORDERS: LEPROSY AND MEASLES
Leprosy
Urine: treat by washing with urine, applying compresses and by drinking urine.
Spice: a little powdered turmeric is mixed with the juice from half a squeezed lime and a little water to make a smooth paste. Put directly onto leprosy sores.
Oil: the use of products prepared from “Neem” are a good remedy for this disease. The body should be bathed with the water in which leaves of neem have been boiled. Neem oil can be massaged into the skin after it has been washed with neem soap.
Measles
Spice: a bit of powdered turmeric is mixed with the juice from half a squeezed lime and a little water to make a smooth paste. Put directly onto spots.
Essential oils: the virus is spread by air-borne droplets. Use anti-viral oils as an air freshener. Make up a synergistic blend of 15 drops lavender, 15 drops chamomile, 5 drops tea tree, and add 10 drops of the blend to 100 ml of water in a spray mist bottle. Make up a solution of 1/2 litre of warm water with 5 drops of the synergistic blend and use this to sponge down the child each day. To treat the spots, cover with calamine lotion, to which essential oils of lavender 5 drops and chamomile 5 drops can be added to 100 ml of calamine.
