NAILS CARE: PROBLEM NAILS
Fragile: increase yeast, kefir, yoghurt, vitamin A.B.C. spirulina Horizontal Ridges: this uneven growth is due to either illness or injury to the base of nail whilst growing. Also due to change of diet and climate.
Vertical Ridges: shows nutrient imbalance, increase protein and fats. Over intake of carbohydrates, salts.
Hard brittle: an over intake of animal foods, salt, eggs, meat, cheese, poultry, and seafood.
Soft peel: an over intake of white rice, bread, milk, cream, kefir, yoghurt, honey, sugar, spices, frozen or canned food, tropical fruit, vegetables, stimulant brewerages.
Splitting: increase vitamin A, protein, cod liver, liver, carrot juice, cabbage, onions, egg yolk and meat. Calcium – milk, cheese, nuts, almonds, canned fish, soyabeans, lettuce, com, beans, spinach and rice.
White spots: zinc and B6 deficiency, over intake of simple sugars. Increase whole grains, meat, bran, sardines, cheese, eggs, pumpkin seeds and brewers yeast in diet.
Hang nails: a lack of folic acid and increase vitamin C.B complex, brewers yeast.
Slow growing: increase vitamin A, sulphur, amino acids and exercise. Nail growth slows down after the age of 50.
